Building a Thriving Cybersecurity Community Through Event Management
I spearheaded the "Digital Trust and Security Seminar Series," a series of in-person events designed to address key issues and trends in cybersecurity. By featuring prominent guest speakers, including experts from The University of Manchester, I was able to facilitate interdisciplinary networking and knowledge exchange. My responsibilities includes the following:
- Event design, planning and delivery
- Stakeholder Management
- Booking the venue and catering
- Communications and engagement management
- Post event analysis and feedback
- On-site supervision
Outcomes
- Facilitated Interdisciplinary Connections: Facilitated knowledge exchange and networking opportunities for internal and external cyber security enthusiasts.
- Increased Awareness: Successfully promoted the Digital Futures platform and showcased The University of Manchester's strength and expertise in cyber security.
- Community Engagement: Gradually growing the Digital Futures - Digital Trust and Security's community.
